Welcome to Movement for Modern Life’s first live online Barre workshop!
Join Amy Holly as we come together and reignite our collective energy in intention, movement and dance during this Barre workshop.
This is a 90 minute workshop. The first 30 minutes will be looking at barre technique; Amy will break down some of the key movements in a barre class so you can gain an understanding of the alignment and stability required. Amy will then lead you through a full barre class – a total body work out! Expect energy work woven through this workshop as Amy uses dance to lift the spirit. The session will end with a yoga-style cool down with stretches, and some gentle breath work.
Expect a fun, feisty session that will get your body and soul dancing. You will need a hand towel and a chair and dress to sweat.
The live online workshop will take place on Zoom and you will receive the link the day before the workshop.
Amy has worked in every aspect of dance as a dancer, choreographer, movement director and teacher for more than 20 years. She brings energy and a enthusiasm to move! Amy’s classes are good for working on mental & physical strength and they are the perfect counterbalance to a yoga practice. It’s time to work it up and dance it out!

Please move within your comfortable limits and if you’re in any doubt whatsoever, please seek medical advice.
