If this works for you, we have two suggestions\u00a0that might be helpful.<\/p>\n<h3>Intention Setting<\/h3>\n<p>This means asking yourself why you have taken on a <a href=\"http:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/challenges\" target=\"_blank\">challenge<\/a>, writing it down and then putting it somewhere you will see it every day. \u00a0For example, on your fridge you could stick a message such as, \u201cI will move my body every day because I deserve to be <a href=\"http:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/videos?c=45\" target=\"_blank\">calmer<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/yoga-class-457-strengthen-your-arms-to-flow\" target=\"_blank\">stronger<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/videos?c=43\" target=\"_blank\">happier<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Journaling<\/h3>\n<p>Taking a moment to journal is surprisingly effective at maintaining motivation, too. Just having a notebook by your bed in which you jot down a couple of thoughts each <a href=\"http:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/yoga-class-447-relax-and-soothe-into-the-evening\" target=\"_blank\">evening<\/a> can help you move on and develop mindfulness, even if you never read it again. \u00a0Of course, that notebook is useful for any other ideas that pop up when you are trying to <a href=\"http:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/videos?c=28\" target=\"_blank\">sleep<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n<p>These techniques may seem simple, but they are supported by science. In fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=4PjhBQAAQBAJ&amp;pg=PA270&amp;lpg=PA270&amp;dq=British+Journal+of+Health+Psychology+concluded+that+91%25+%22exercise%22+%22motivation%22&amp;source=bl&amp;ots=HWE8W9ITLf&amp;sig=w1d65uFsXt93wRRVx8DWeQ9H2L4&amp;hl=en&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=0CDIQ6AEwA2oVChMI4eXSr7mmxwIVxBo-Ch0t2gMM#v=onepage&amp;q=British%20Journal%20of%20Health%20Psychology%20concluded%20that%2091%25%20%22exercise%22%20%22motivation%22&amp;f=false\" target=\"_blank\">a study<\/a> in the\u00a0<em>British Journal of Health Psychology<\/em>\u00a0concluded\u00a0that 91% people who planned and wrote down when and where they would exercise each week ended up following through.
