Tiredness leads to poor decision-making, short-tempers and just feeling a little ragged round the edges. We\u2019re likely to snap at others, brush them off, not look them in the eye. We\u2019re likely to eat processed, convenience food, or \u2018comfort\u2019 food. We\u2019re just more likely to sit down and watch junk on TV,\u00a0and definitely not likely to\u00a0<strong>make good choices.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen we\u2019re feeling well-rested, nourished and supported,\u00a0we\u2019re more likely to feel happy, friendly, eager to get\u00a0friends round for a cuppa and ask them how they <strong>really<\/strong> are. Give people time. Give ourselves <strong>more\u00a0time<\/strong> to keep feeling good with <strong>nourishing food and practices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From this place of feeling better, we\u2019re more likely to really accept ourselves for who we really are. We\u2019re less likely to feel pressure to look differently, or act differently, it\u2019s that wonderful feeling of all round <strong>comfort within ourselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Making good decisions<\/h3>\n<p>This is the reason why <strong>self-care is so important<\/strong> and our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/challenge-embrace-your-essence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/challenge-embrace-your-essence\">Embrace Your Essence<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>series is absolutely crucial. When yoga isn\u2019t fitness, but is a means of embracing our real selves. I\u00a0think we\u2019re more likely to make good decisions for ourselves and others when we\u2019re in this feel good place. It can be a wonderful feeling to feel like you <strong>know yourself<\/strong> well enough to make decisions which are<strong> kind to ourselves and the planet.<\/strong> We can start to move into a place where we\u2019re more likely to decide on a more healthy relationship, better choice of partner, of job &#8211; the list goes on!<\/p>\n<h3>Finding comfort in yoga<\/h3>\n<p>Of course Valentine\u2019s is also a time where there feels like considerable <strong>pressure to be with a loved one.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many of us don\u2019t have that person, or perhaps we\u2019re in a relationship, but things just aren\u2019t feeling right. That can be more lonely than\u00a0being on our own! For those of us who are suffering right now, this time of year can make things so much worse. I\u2019ve suffered a deal of heartbreak in my life and I was able to find great <strong>comfort from the simple practices of yoga.<\/strong> This is the reason why we have a search facility to search by <a href=\"https:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/yoga-classes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/yoga-classes\"><strong>emotions<\/strong><\/a>, because i truly know how important yoga can be in moving us into a place where we feel better.<\/p>\n<p>We also have our<a href=\"https:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/challenge-yoga-to-heal-heartache\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/movementformodernlife.com\/challenge-yoga-to-heal-heartache\"><strong> heartbreak challenge<\/strong><\/a>, for those who are going through a grieving process. Sometimes grieving takes a while, many decades often &#8211; and it\u2019s definitely\u00a0a process, it seems to ebb and flow. This time of year can be a time when our grief seems more painful. I hope that this series of <strong>classes, designed to comfort and support you during this time<\/strong>, can help.
