This Prenatal Pilates class for all levels, up until second trimester). It is also just a wonderful Pilates class for all round strength, for any body. This class integrates a variety of safe Pilates exercises to engage the full body to maintain optimal mobility and stability through the joints. Enjoy different abdominal strengthening exercises in a variety of position, to target all the core muscles without uncomfortable crunches. Also activate hamstrings and build up strength in the glutes with side laying leg patterns focusing on internal and external rotation in your hip joints. This is a complete and balanced Prenatal Pilates practice to practice a couple of times a week to uplift your mood and maintain wellbeing during pregnancy, but also for all of us at any time the body needs to be given a full body glow! This gentle, all-levels hip-opening slow flow is perfect for a prenatal practice (in any trimester), or for any of us with hips! It is also a great class if you're recovering from illness and injury, or have energy challenges, because the class is entirely on the back and movements in the neck and head are very subtle. Get curious about how your body moves and how your breath moves through your body. Feel release in the neck, jaw and head through this very nurturing, kind and gentle class which will make you feel human again with your nervous system restored and recovered. Find a comfortable place to lie down and let your body feel nurtured and nourished by this gentle somatic movement.

Ease into your Morning: Side Bends and Breathwork
A luscious, evenly-paced slow flow vinyasa flow which is the perfect way to start the day. Full body stretches focusing on side bends and breathwork. A great class for after driving, travelling, or just to awaken and enliven the whole body. BKS Iyengar said, “if you open your armpits you won’t get depressed” and I believe it! In this sidebending class we open the armpits and stretch the whole side body. Including side bends lying down, seated and standing, your side body and lungs will be ready for some gentle breathwork. This is a soothing, feel good practice- one Margi's personal favourites! You may need a strap, block and blanket.

Yoga to Calm and Ground
This hatha class is great for when we're feeling tired or overwhelmed, to calm the nervous system and ground the body. Class begins with lying on the ground with a short body scan. Then we have a wonderful antidote to overwhelm and anxiety with supported forward folds, to clear the brain. After a foot massage, practice rooting standing and balancing poses. Feel the ground as a way of letting go of anxiety and find stability within. You may need 2 blocks (or books) and a blanket.

Healthy Hips: Functional Hips And Alignment For The Pelvis
Did you know that to have a strong core, to have a strong and healthy lower back, we need to have healthy, mobile hips as well as a strong pelvic floor and good core muscles? Discover the interconnection of hips and core. This class is excellent for building hip core and lower back strength and mobility for healthy day to day function of the hips and pelvis. Movements will be practiced from standing, box position, side lying and lying supine. Build strength within the gluteal, abdominal, pelvic floor and lower back muscles.This movement class is slightly stronger and more challenging than previous classes, you may need to work with Sally's other hip classes first.

Healthy Hips: Recovering The Hips After Surgery
This class is suitable for those who are recovering from hip injury or after hip replacement, after you have had the go-ahead from your healthcare provider (usually around 10 weeks after surgery). This sequence will work through a selection of gentle movements for the hips keeping it simple by using body weight to engage the muscles surrounding the joints of the hips and pelvis. Movements will be small and repetitive to get some flow in the joints. Movements will be seated on a chair, then up to standing, over to the wall and sitting/lying down (supine) followed by a gentle stretch. This class will be considerate of hip and lower back injury making it accessible to all.
