Yoga for Sore Feet & Ankles

    Lucy & Ben Parker

Our feet are our foundations; we rely on our feet and ankles to carry us around all day. Quite a remarkable task if you stop to think of the proportions of two small feet carrying one tall person! In this yoga and anatomy tutorial video you will learn so much about your feet and ankles and develop a new found respect and gratitude for this remarkable part of our anatomy. Discover how to use your feet for optimum posture and easeful movement throughout your day, and on your yoga mat. Practice some movement to help you understand how you can strengthen and mobilise this area. Plus, learn about how to support common conditions relating to the feet including sprains, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon problems, bunions and hallux rigidus. Please note that all advice and recommendations in this film are given generally and do not constitute any form of an individual diagnosis or treatment plan. A consultation with a medical practitioner or registered physical therapist is recommended. Practice to help you understand how you can strengthen and mobilise the foot and ankle.

    Slow Flow With Yoga Philosophy

    Zephyr Wildman

A wonderfully balanced slow flow yoga class but with a difference. This class clearly explains how the philosophy of yoga can be integrated into the physical practice. This yoga class is steeped in the guidance of the ancient sage Patanjali, inspiring us to create an asana, how to practice and the results of practice. The goal is to deepen your meaning into the why and how, and to benefit from your dedicated absorption while practicing yoga. A wonderful full-body, all round practice.

    Full Body Tune Up

    Naomi Absalom

When is a vinyasa not a vinyasa? When it's full body tune up. This yoga class isn't yoga in the traditional way. Class focuses on full mobility in the body working systematically through all the joints and works on range of motion. If there's any class that everyone should do everyday to make sure that the whole body is tuned, it should be this class. The class is all-levels, although including some headstand variations which of course should be practiced only if that's in your regular practice. Some of the movements are to a full range of motion, so are tough, so do take class in your own time, at your own pace and only do what is helpful for you. Class ends with a chant.
