In a world full of constant notifications, endless to-do lists and competing demands on our attention, it's easy to feel scattered, depleted and disconnected. Through the ancient practice of Qigong, we'll explore how to quiet the mental noise, cultivate inner steadiness and reconnect with a deep sense of clarity and purpose.
We're delighted to welcome back senior teacher Sifu Matthew Cohen, founder of Sacred Energy Arts, whose joyful and deeply embodied teaching weaves together Qigong, yoga, martial arts and breathwork into practices that are both ancient and profoundly relevant for modern life.
As we move into the season traditionally associated with the Metal Element in Chinese Medicine - a time of refinement, discernment and letting go - Matthew will guide us through gentle yet powerful practices to help release distractions, settle the nervous system and create space for what truly deserves our energy.
In this workshop we'll explore
🌟 Gentle Qigong movements to calm the mind and cultivate clarity.
🌟 Breathwork practices to regulate the nervous system and improve focus.
🌟 Seasonal Qigong practices inspired by the Autumn Equinox and the Metal Element.
🌟 Ways to release mental and emotional clutter and reconnect with what matters most.
🌟 Practical techniques to help you feel more grounded, energised and present in everyday life.
Who it’s for:
This workshop is open to everyone. Whether you're completely new to Qigong or already have an established practice, you'll leave with simple, accessible tools that you can return to whenever life feels overwhelming, busy or unfocused.
Whether you're looking to improve concentration, navigate seasonal change with greater ease or simply enjoy moving and breathing with a wonderful community, this workshop will leave you feeling calmer, clearer and more connected.
