Welcome to these soundscapes with Kirsty Norton, they will take you on a journey so be curious and see where they take you.

Sound healing is the therapeutic application of soundwaves (frequency) to a person with the intention of bringing them into a coherent state of balance and harmony. In our noisy world many people are finding they can't get into a relaxed state or their sleep is being affected. Using certain sound healing audios as a tool for relaxation is a great addition to your life. It enhances the relaxation response of the nervous system and changes your brain wave state to take you to rest. Sound works on different levels including the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical levels.

These sound journeys have been designed to help you explore a range of feelings or experiences, including acceptance, gratitude and sleep. They can take you into a space of imagination where you may see things, or 'know' things. You can, of course, fall asleep, or feel emotions, all of this is normal and natural.

It can be fun to set an intention before a journey to explore what's there for you or to get an answer to a question you have. They can also be used to open up a creative channel. You may want to write down what you discover afterward, so keep a journal handy!

Enjoy exploring what these sound journeys bring to you and know that you can return to them whenever you need. You may well get something totally different from them each time, or something contrary to your expectations, but know you will get just what you need.

The sound can take a couple of days to settle, drink lots of water and enjoy the afterglow.

We highly recommend using a good quality pair of headphones - this is so you can soak up the full effect that has been created for your experience.
