Kundalini Yoga › Vidya Heisel
Kundalini Yoga is a combination of movement, breath, sound and mudra. It is an ancient healing practice which helps you to connect to the energy within yourself. Some postures are dynamic, while others are held in stillness, but the focus is on meditation whilst in a pose, rather than physical alignment. Kundalini yoga is good for building strength, enhancing concentration and improving mood. Often a kundalini practice will include a ‘Kriya’, where practice builds on the previous one and moves the energy in a precise way to create a lovely buzz in the body and mind. If you enjoy Kundalini yoga, you may also wish to try meditation and breath work.
