YOUR BODY KNOWS BEST: BODY INTELLIGENCE COURSE
Our bodies offer us a wealth of information and knowledge, all we need to do is listen. The Body Intelligence course is designed for you to get to know the language of your body better so that you can make better choices for your body, your mind and your life.
The course is a collection of classes taught by senior teacher, Elizabeth Reumont. The classes offer tools to help listen to our body’s unique way of sensing and experiencing information. Understanding this information guides us to move with more sensitivity to what our bodies are actually telling us that we need.
These techniques help us to be present, reconnect to our body, and to respond to what we need in each moment. If we learn to move more intelligently we are sure to be able to continue to move with ease, joy, and find sustainable ways of moving throughout our lives.
Yoga means ‘union’. Through our yoga practice we reunite with our body and its innate wisdom.
This course comprises:
- 10 classes and tutorials
- Techniques to be more present and reconnect with our body
- Move with ease, joy, and for life

This meditation will help you to understand how the various ‘parts’ of the body relate to one another, and how they respond to gravity. Bring your awareness to the body to help you to ground and feel present to this moment. A great meditation to do when you're on the move, feeling anxious or overwhelmed to reconnect with yourself and this moment. Also a really great meditation to do when you’re choosing what class to practise. Tune into your body and find out what your body is asking for.

Learn to be more sensitive to your body and enrich your practice in this experiential yoga tutorial. This yoga class also asks us what are the components of an intelligent body? When we become more sensitive to our body's intelligence, we can work and move with our own body in a safer and subtler way. We can make more grounded, more embodied decisions.

Honour Your Body Yoga Class
50:21 | Lizzie Reumont
This workshop-style hatha yoga class asks us to listen to our own bodies to make our yoga practise our own. Bring together the information from the Body Intelligence Series and learn to use our intuition to guide our yoga practice and wake up the whole body. Ask the question: What is it that my body needs most today? Take time to feel the poses, the transitions and the after effects of each pose, and learn how to honour your own body and know what it is to feel embodied. Variations are offered using blocks and a chair to invite the option to slow down, listen to the body’s needs and learn how to adapt to meet the body where it is.
