In this Barre workout class, we consciously activate the core to maintain balance and control in every movement. In standing core work, we move against gravity and keep our balance. This requires greater muscle activation to remain stable. This class promotes good posture, great balance, strength and might seriously improve your self-confidence.

Barre for Strength - Arm Focus
Get beautifully strong arms with this Barre workout class whilst also improving upper body strength without any weights or press-ups! We will use resistance as if we are moving through water to create strong yet fluid arms. Strong well-placed arm positions will also benefit your whole upper body.

Barre Fitness - Getting Strong with Every Move You Make
This fairly challenging Barre class has us getting strong and improving our balance with every move we make. A great class to improve balance as well as core strength. Starting with standing core Barre work, challenging the balance as we get stronger. Then we move to lunges and finally, core work on the ground. A really fun way to start the day and to improve balance, strength and overall co-ordination and mobility!

Barre Fitness for Building Strength
This Barre Fitness Class builds strength through the glutes. Using techniques taken from classical ballet and focusing on maintaining external hip rotation, this class will strengthen your whole body but especially the legs. You will need a chair or a sturdy bit of furniture to use as a ballet barre.

Standing Barre for Strong Abs
This Barre Class strengthens the whole of the abdominal area, often known as the core, without a single plank or sit up! Target the whole of the core - including the back body and glutes. Create a strong centre (great for balance, grace and poise) while sculpting, toning and strengthening one of the most important muscle groups in the body, this is great for lower back care. Remember to activate the core throughout this class. Not suitable if those who are pregnant. Have a sturdy chair on hand for this class.

This upbeat, and quite challenging Barre workout is strengthening muscles without increasing bulk and will improve stamina, balance and posture. The focus of this class is 'every move you make' because every move has to come from the core! Done regularly barre workouts will increase your bone density, which will help prevent conditions like osteoporosis.

Barre for Cardio and Strong Legs
A strong barre class to target the legs and to get the heart pumping. This Barre class is hard work but once practiced will definitely get easier. So do remember to work on your technique with some of the less intense barre class. Through repetition this class will help tone your quads, hamstrings, glutes and calves but it will also burn calories and strengthen your heart. Practicing high intensity classes will improve your mood and your energy so get ready to sweat, work hard and feel GREAT!! This class is suitable for those with a good level of fitness and mobility and should not be practiced by those with knee issues.

Slow Barre and Yoga Workout
This is a slower Barre and yoga fusion class which is perfect for those building their barre experience. You will need a chair to modify plank and down dog as well as helping with the technique and balance when breaking down second position. There is time to really focus on alignment and technique in this class but remember, slow doesn’t necessarily mean easy!
