Amy Holly

Amy has worked in every aspect of dance as a dancer, choreographer, movement director and teacher for more than 20 years and has been responsible for making the careers of many young dancers. She originally trained at London Contemporary Dance School. Amy would describe herself as a dance/movement specialist. Keeping the traditions of teaching ballet, the discipline and the importance of technique and moving it forward is crucial to her. Her approach is more than exercise, it's a way of looking at life and yourself.

Amy brings energy and a enthusiasm to move! Amy’s classes are good for working on mental & physical strength and they are the perfect counterbalance to a yoga practice.

Amy sees her classes as energy work just like Yoga or Qigong - it’s time to work it up and dance it out!

Remember to activate the core throughout this class. Not suitable if those who are pregnant. Have a sturdy chair on hand for this class.

So do remember to work on your technique with some of the less intense barre class. Through repetition this class will help tone your quads, hamstrings, glutes and calves but it will also burn calories and strengthen your heart. Practicing high intensity classes will improve your mood and your energy so get ready to sweat, work hard and feel GREAT!! This class is suitable for those with a good level of fitness and mobility and should not be practiced by those with knee issues.
