We also firmly believe that it really doesn’t matter how long your hamstrings are or whether you can touch your knees or toes or if you’re already in the cirque de soleil. Really that’s not what yoga is about. So what is yoga about?
To Movement for Modern Life, yoga is simply a tool. It is a tool which is guaranteed to make you feel better. Guaranteed. Starting with a little stretch and a little strength, you will find you feel a lot better in your body, and then you may start to breathe. You may start to feel some space in your head. In your life. You may start to feel that things feel possible that you never even knew were. But don’t take our word for it. Just get moving. Forwards ever, backwards never. Get moving and keep on moving a little bit every day. We have online yoga videos to e... Show more

A perfect morning energiser yoga class. Invigorate with the focus of fire!! This Invigorating vinyasa yoga class starts with breathwork including Kapalbhati breathing. Try some eye yoga, and mudra to centre and clense. Then build tapas (heat and focus), with a creatively sequenced fire practice focusing on backbends, core work and twists.

If you’d like to feel more flow in your life and enjoy a fluid vinyasa flow yoga class, you’ll love this energising but grounded flow in which we harness the water within the body to mobilise, move and flow.

Build stability and a strong and stable grounding as well as building bone strength with warrior sequences. Approaching The Warrior
Learn to be a warrior! An introduction to weaving the warrior for beginners or for all of us who like to get back to basics. The warrior gives us the strength to lean in to life. Now is the best time to start to approach the warrior in yourself with this warrior flow. You may need blocks.
Enjoy this beautiful yin class when you need a bit of a luxurious, supported pick-me-up, for your moon time or just before bed. A fantastic practice if you've had a tough day and you need a bit of TLC. Plenty of ease-ful, supportive poses - all supine or seated, no standing poses for added YIN-tastic vinyasa.
Beginners Creative Vinyasa
A lovely introduction to the standing poses or for when you don't feel like a more dynamic practice. This is a slow, nourishing vinyasa without a sun salutation in sight. Highly recommend also for advanced level practitioners who are having a slower day. This sequence is highly restorative, as well as benefiting from being a breakdown of some of the more familiar poses.
Supported Practice for Slow Days
A restorative sequence featuring passive inversions to relax the brain. Attention is turned inward and focus turned on the breath to calm and restore the nervous system. This practice will be perfect for relaxing you before bed, but also great practice if you've done your exercise or 100 sun salutations and just want the yoga to work its magic. You will need access to a wall, blocks and a bolster.
