ONLINE YIN YOGA WORKSHOP WITH NORMAN BLAIR
Wednesday 11th December | 7-8.30pm
As the year draws to a close and the holiday season approaches, it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness and demands of this time. This workshop offers you a precious opportunity to slow down, unwind, and create space for yourself amidst it all.
Join us for a nurturing Yin yoga practice designed to help you soften, rest, and release. Through floor-based postures, held gently for several minutes and supported by props, we’ll create a calming and cosy environment for your body, mind, and heart to relax and rejuvenate.
This is your time to gather, process, and reflect as we transition from one year to the next. Mindfully bending and moving in these poses can deeply nourish your nervous system—providing you with an energy of calm and renewal that you can carry with you throughout the holiday season.
Come and enjoy this space to breathe, release, and restore. Plus, Yin yoga’s calming effect on the nervous system and gentle movement can support your immune system, helping you fight off winter lurgies.

WHAT TO EXPECT
- A Slow, Grounding Practice: Yin yoga involves longer-held postures, often done seated or lying down. These poses target the deeper connective tissues and are designed to promote relaxation and release tension. Each posture will be supported by props to ensure comfort and ease.
- Calming the Nervous System: The extended holds allow you to settle into stillness, helping to regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and enhance your overall sense of calm. This calm state also supports the immune system, giving your body a chance to rest and fight off seasonal colds and winter lurgies.
- Mindful Breathwork: Throughout the workshop, we will incorporate simple breathwork practices to help you center your mind and connect more deeply with the present moment.
- A Reflective Space: This is an opportunity to pause, reflect on the past year, and cultivate a sense of calm and clarity as you prepare for the year ahead.
- A Cosy, Restorative Atmosphere: The space will be warm and inviting, with soft lighting and a soothing environment designed to help you get cosy, rest, and restore.

Cost
We know that some of you are facing some real cost-dilemmas and we know that sometimes our wellbeing practices are the first to suffer when life gets hard.
We want you to know that we are there for you.
Therefore, our workshops and live events are offered on a ‘Pay As You Can’ basis.
There is a suggested price, which we ask you to pay, if you have the means. The suggested price is the ‘true cost’ of running the workshop, and this is £35.
If finances might get in the way of you joining, you can pay what you can afford, and therefore you are still able to join. This is the Buddhist system of Dana. The minimum that we can accept is £10, because like you, we are also struggling at these times.
Those of you do have the means, please do feel free to pay more than the suggested price. We want so much to continue to support you for years to come with online workshops and community gatherings. However, we can only do that if we continue to have your support through tougher times.
Please do get in touch if you have any queries whatsoever about the workshop, about payment, or any concerns at all. We really love to hear from you.
