ONLINE LIVE WORKSHOP: Winter Wisdom: The Art of Rest – A Journey Within with Kirsty Nazaré
Monday 20th January | 7-8.30PM (GMT)
This January, let Kirsty guide you into a wintry sanctuary—a space to replenish your mind, body, and soul. Designed to soothe and restore, this workshop invites you to embrace the gentle art of rest and renewal.
Through the calming flow of restful yoga asana, the rhythmic breath of pranayama, and the cocooning vibrations of digitally mastered sound healing, you’ll journey into a state of deep rest. A guided visualisation and yoga nidra will help you slip into soulful stillness, reconnecting with the whispers of your heart and the innate body wisdom you carry.
Winter calls us to turn inward, to rest, and to heal. This experience offers the perfect moment to honour that wisdom—a nurturing blend of movement, stillness, and reflection to leave you feeling restored, grounded, and fully nourished.
This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of experience. It’s a unique opportunity to slow down, listen to your heart, and find comfort in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Let’s come together to rest and heal. Sign up today and take the first step towards feeling restored, grounded and fully nourished.
Who This Workshop Is For:
- Anyone who wants to down-regulate their nervous system for immune support, improve sleep, reduce feelings of overwhelm and anxiety.
- Individuals who want to soothe achy joints and sore muscles.
- Those who need to rest the mind for mental and emotional restoration.
- Yoga practitioners of all levels, including beginners.
What to Expect:
- Rehydrating Movement: Rehydrate your fascia and feel the benefits of that in all parts of the body! This’ll soothe those achy joints and sore muscles and give you more range of movement.
- Rest the Mind: Give the mind the opportunity to move into alpha and theta brain wave states to encourage mental and emotional restoration. They also enhance your intuition and creativity!
- Nourish the Heart: Bring your heart into a state of coherence and magnify your energetic field of compassion.
Kirsty Nazaré
Kirsty was born to move, whether it was countries, homes or through all of life’s experiences. She grew up in South America, UK and Bangladesh so travel and culture is in her blood. Yoga helps her to move and flow through life experiencing the full velocity of it all. It’s given her the tools to navigate it all. Through this she brings spirituality, vibrancy and freshness to her teachings. She has dedicated her life to energy, study and evolving.
You can enjoy the first iteration here on MFML of Embrace Your Essence , this series will reveal the spirit that shines bright within us all. It can just get a bit dusty so these practices help to remove that which is in the way. She is currently writing a book about the same subject.
She writes frequently for Elephant Journal, Teach Yoga and has a health blog series on Healthista. This year she has created her own oracle cards which serve as a prompt for journaling or daily guidance.
The workshop will take place on Zoom and you will receive the link the day before the workshop. If you haven’t received the link please get in touch at least 2 hours before the start of the class.
Can’t make it live?
We will be offering a on-demand playback of the workshop for 14 days afterwards, so you don’t have to miss out!
Cost
We know that some of you are facing some real cost-dilemmas and we know that sometimes our wellbeing practices are the first to suffer when life gets hard.
We want you to know that we are there for you.
Therefore, our workshops and live events are offered on a ‘Pay As You Can’ basis.
There is a suggested price, which we ask you to pay, if you have the means. The suggested price is the ‘true cost’ of running the workshop, and this is £30.
If finances might get in the way of you joining, you can pay what you can afford, and therefore you are still able to join. This is the Buddhist system of Dana. The minimum that we can accept is £15, because like you, we are also struggling at these times.
Those of you do have the means, please do feel free to pay more than the suggested price. We want so much to continue to support you for years to come with online workshops and community gatherings. However, we can only do that if we continue to have your support through tougher times.
Please do get in touch if you have any queries whatsoever about the workshop, about payment, or any concerns at all. We really love to hear from you.
