Regulating the Nervous System for Parents and Carers

Tuesday 26th April – 7pm-8.30pm (GMT)

A Live Online Workshop

As parents, carers, educators, therapists, we underestimate the impact and importance of our state of being for the children and  people in our care.  We are frequently so busy trying to make everything right for them, often creating a hugely anxious state in ourselves trying to control the impossible.  However when we are calm, regulated and connected to our hearts, we create an unspoken communication circle of safety and care.  From there everyone can thrive.

Jyoti has years of experience in yoga and mindfulness having embarked into her practice in 1974.  She will passionately and compassionately share her experiences and offer accessible and highly impactful breath, body and mindful practices to offer a fast pathway to regulating our often fragile nervous systems and open our hearts to more kindness and connection to ourselves.

She will share powerful and impactful breath work, qi gong movement, heartful meditation and relaxation, and how she blends these practises into her every day life.  Both the quality of her life and the lives of her students have been enhanced with a deeper kindness and connection to themselves, and with more authentic and heartfelt energy to share.  You will leave nourished, inspired with pathways of potential healing and tools you can pass on to the children and adults in your care.

You can expect:

  • Space and time to find calm, peace and feel connected to yourself
  • Movement, meditation and relaxation to help you pour from a full cup
  • Discover tools of nourishment, inspiration and healing which you can pass on to those in your care
  • Open your heart to kindness towards yourself

This workshop is suitable for all levels, bodies and abilities. If you’re a parent or carer in need of some respite and tools to support you in your daily life, this workshop is for you.

Jyoti is the founder of Special Yoga, a global online training school that has focussed its work on children, young people and adults with special and additional needs.   The practices shared work for everyone. And after all, who doesn’t need to develop more gentleness and kindness for yourself and learn how to find self mastery through the heart!

Can’t make it live?

We will be offering a on-demand playback of the workshop for 14 days afterwards, so you don’t have to miss out!
