On 6th – 7th March 2020, you have a unique opportunity to reflect, experience and learn more about mindfulness, meditation and sleep.
The Mindful Living and The Sleep Show come together at the Business Design Centre in London, to offer 2 exceptional days of learning, connectedness & fun and 1 evening of rest & relaxation – through seminars, live practice, inspirational features and experiential sessions.
There will be over 120 seminars and experiential sessions, in dedicated workshop rooms – covering a multitude of practices and wide-reaching health and wellbeing subjects including mindful movement, creativity, sleep issues, mental health, empowerment, spiritual insight, self-compassion, sound therapy lucid dreaming, mantras, ‘touch’, relationships, parenting, waking up well, mindful nutrition – and much more from leaders and experts in the world of health, wellbeing, mindfulness and beyond.
As the largest event in the country dedicated to mindfulness, meditation and sleep the speaker programme is second to none. Set across 4 conference-style theatres, you will hear from renowned authors, scientists, experts and teachers. It is a unique opportunity to meet them. enhance your knowledge, understand their thinking, get involved in their practice sessions and ask them questions.
MFML’s very own Dan Peppiatt and Lisa Sanfilippo will also be speaking at the event. Dan will be talking about the gift of the breath, while Lisa will be offering a masterclass on ‘deeper sleep and happier days’. We’ll also be launching a brand new course to tie in with this wonderful event, so keep your eyes peeled!
Our lovely founder, Kat, will also be at the event talking about how yoga can help us navigate through life’s highs and lows.
But the inspiration doesn’t stop there. Four peaceful feature areas will offer creative relaxation and meditation, including the Body and Mind Space; Taster Zone, Creative Calm Space and Guided Meditation Space. Plus on Saturday, the Mindful Minis Zone gives children (and carers) their own wellbeing space to enjoy.
The Creative Calm Space offers explorations for nimble fingers and imaginative minds, try your hand at mindful activities such as mindful art or calligraphy that push your creativity. Focus on your breath and your physical being in The Mind & Body Space, which offers tai chi, yoga and mindful walking. And our Taster Zone gives you the opportunity to enjoy group meditation and hands-on activities with our exhibitors.
Our ‘Mindful Minis’ feature offers families the opportunity to explore mindfulness for the young, bringing parents and children together in practical sessions where benefits can be explored, and different approaches examined and tested. Practice mindful creative and physical activities together and learn techniques designed to support young minds.
And NEW for 2020 … an evening of deep relaxation. That is what Friday night is all about. Being in the present, centred and calm. Launching this year for the very first time is ‘The Wind-down’ – sound, senses and space. A blissful few hours to take you into a world of rest and relaxation and introducing you to an array of new sensations.
