Yoga Off The Mat - The Movement For Modern Life Podcast
Kat Farrants

Kat Farrants, founder and CEO of Movement For Modern Life, talks with experts in different fields and looks at them from the point of view of a yogic lifestyle. With her discoveries, we learn how to take our Yoga practice off the mat and live a happy, healthy, sustainable life.

In this conversation with internationally renowned Jivamukti and Yin yoga teacher, Andrea Kwaitkowski, the Founder of Movement for Modern Life and Andrea have a really wide ranging conversation about what does it mean to take our yoga practice off the mat and out into the world? This is a conversation about connecting back to yourself, our connections with others and finding the extraordinary in the most ordinary moments.

What is yoga anyway? Is it the shapes? And if yoga isn’t about making shapes, why do we make the shapes anyway?

In this conversation Andrea shows us how her yoga practice is making the everyday decisions, doing the everyday actions, and living her everyday day to day life. It is a way of connecting back to our true selves, and our true joy.

I’ve listened to this conversation several times….and again just now. It’s a wonderful conversation to come back to if you’re feeling off kilter And looking for a reset. So inspiring, and grounding and a fantastic reminder that the small things really count. This listen has made me think deeply in what i’m passionate about in terms of being an activist and how I can help others. A spring in my step to now make that phone call and reach out. Huge thanks to Kat and Andrea. So great grateful.
