Not another New Year Resolution Yoga Workshop: Inclusive Yoga Flow & Restorative Stillness

Sunday 21st January | 4-6pm (GMT)

Are you sick and tired of hearing about setting New Year resolutions to do better, train harder, improve and change? It can almost feel like we are not good enough as we are?! This New Year our intention is to not set resolves to be different from who we are now!

Join this ‘not another New Year Resolution Yoga Workshop’ with Kate Walker to set a resolve to not set resolves together! This workshop is about inclusive movement for everyone, and practicing deeper Self love and acceptance.

This New Year let’s break the habit of striving to change yourself, and celebrate the light that already exists within.

Kate Walker

This January, instead of setting resolves to change yourself, choose to take a transformative journey of self-acceptance and love. Join this workshop to deeply relax into who you are this year.

What to expect:

  • A safe and welcoming space, where everyone is celebrated for who they are.
  • A unique fusion of invigorating flows and restorative practices
  • To nourish your mind, body, and soul.
  • Inclusive yoga for every body – Read more about MFML and our inclusive yoga here

Yoga Flow

The idea is to unleash and celebrate our inner strength. As we flow through inclusive yoga sequences, we will embrace our individuality and honour our body’s capabilities.

Kate specialises in offering accessible variations, and she takes care that everyone feels empowered and supported throughout the workshop.

Meditation and Restorative Yoga Practices

Then we will experience the profound benefits of stillness and mindfulness as we delve into relaxing meditation and restorative poses. Here we have the opportunity to let go of stress, tension, and expectations, and embrace the present moment with compassion and self-love.

In this softer, nurturing moment we cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves and discover the beauty and power of stillness.

Who this workshop is for:

  • This workshop is suitable for all levels and is accessible for everyone to join.
  • Kate specialises in offering accessible variations, and she takes care that everyone feels supported throughout the workshop.

Start the year on a positive and transformational note.

Together we celebrate the arrival of the New Year by setting powerful intentions for self-acceptance and love. Instead of setting resolutions to change who we are, let’s set intentions to love who we are.  This is revolutionary and brave.

Give yourself the lasting gift of booking your spot now and embark on a journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and love in 2024.

Kate has been a dedicated yogini since 1998 and, in that time, has watched her body – and life – change drastically. Yoga, like a true friend, has been with her through it all, and she has learned to practice, and teach, with clarity, inclusive acceptance, and love.

The workshop will take place on Zoom and you will receive the link the day before the workshop.

Can’t make it live?

We will be offering a on-demand playback of the workshop for 14 days afterwards, so you don’t have to miss out!

Cost

We know that some of you are facing some real cost-dilemmas and we know that sometimes our wellbeing practices are the first to suffer when life gets hard.

We want you to know that we are there for you.

Therefore, our workshops and live events are offered on a ‘Pay As You Can’ basis.

There is a suggested price, which we ask you to pay, if you have the means. The suggested price is the ‘true cost’ of running the workshop, and this is £35.

If finances might get in the way of you joining, you can pay what you can afford, and therefore you are still able to join. This is the Buddhist system of Dana. The minimum that we can accept is £10, because like you, we are also struggling at these times.

Those of you do have the means, please do feel free to pay more than the suggested price. We want so much to continue to support you for years to come with online workshops and community gatherings. However, we can only do that if we continue to have your support through tougher times.

Please do get in touch if you have any queries whatsoever about the workshop, about payment, or any concerns at all. We really love to hear from you.
