In this Barre workout class, we consciously activate the core to maintain balance and control in every movement. In standing core work, we move against gravity and keep our balance. This requires greater muscle activation to remain stable. This class promotes good posture, great balance, strength and might seriously improve your self-confidence.

Barre for Strength - Arm Focus
Get beautifully strong arms with this Barre workout class whilst also improving upper body strength without any weights or press-ups! We will use resistance as if we are moving through water to create strong yet fluid arms. Strong well-placed arm positions will also benefit your whole upper body.

Barre Fitness for Building Strength
This Barre Fitness Class builds strength through the glutes. Using techniques taken from classical ballet and focusing on maintaining external hip rotation, this class will strengthen your whole body but especially the legs. You will need a chair or a sturdy bit of furniture to use as a ballet barre.

Standing Barre for Strong Abs
This Barre Class strengthens the whole of the abdominal area, often known as the core, without a single plank or sit up! Target the whole of the core - including the back body and glutes. Create a strong centre (great for balance, grace and poise) while sculpting, toning and strengthening one of the most important muscle groups in the body, this is great for lower back care. Mindful Movement to Unwind & De-Stress
This is a short, calming mindful movement and breath work class to help you find a settled, but grounded posture and a focused mind. The emphasis is on breathing and using a gentle moving meditation to really be in the moment. This class is perfect if you're low on energy and need a quick energy re-set, perhaps to calm you after a full-on day at work, if you are struggling with anxiety or you are recovering from illness or injury and you want to be gently reminded what it’s like to be back in the body.

Seated Abs Workout
This seated abdominal class is a fun way to enhance core strength; perfect if you just can’t face another plank! It is an ideal short workout if you've got limited space, need a break from work, or when you're travelling. This class could also be done sat on a chair or on the edge of a bed; just make sure the core is engaged and the direction of energy is up.

Drawing on Amy’s contemporary dance background as well as her love for Qigong and Tai Chi, this sequence helps us to feel grounded, connected, composed and calm.
