This energising Jivamukti yoga flow focuses on the transitions between poses, how we link the asana ( postures ) of yoga together can have an affect on mood / emotions . This class is fast-moving for an energising lift, perfect for a post-afternoon slump or when you need a boost.

Breathe and Meditate to Feel Relaxed and Positive
Calm the nervous system with this Jivamukti breathwork and meditation practice. Alternate nostril breathing is taught with Sanskrit and then a meditation with the internal mantra of 'Hari Om.' If you have mala beads and wish to practice with those, have them on hand.

Daily Morning Jivamukti Practice to Feel Good
Feel energised with the Jivamukti yoga sequence to bring flexibility, strength and positive mindset into your day. This class is a counted invitation to simply breathe in each pose. The sequence is energising and includes a handstand at the wall if that is in your practice. You will need a wall space and two blocks.

Breathing Exercises for Morning Energy Boost
Move stuck energy and feel energised with breathwork! Starting with Kapala Bhati (Skull Shining Breath), then Alternate Nostril Breathing with Kapala Bhati and Udiyana Badha, these Yogic Kriyas (the cleansing actions of yoga) are great for waking up and getting energised. This is not suitable if you are pregnant, have tummy issues or are recovering from surgery.

Chanting and Gratitude for a Positive Mindset
Wake up and start the day with a positive mindset from the Jivamukti method. How you start your day colours your entire day. This short morning session includes affirmations and gratitude practices to start the best way. Featuring Sanskrit chants to put us in a positive frame of mind, the class then talks us through some gratitude journaling. It’s helpful to have a notebook or journal for this class.

Christmas Yin Yoga - Replay of Live Class
This is an extra special yin class, the perfect time of year for hibernating at home in our pyjamas and all our props. This class includes, breath work, a yin sequence to cultivate kidney energy during the winter season, soothing of the nervous system with warmth and relaxing meditation. You will need: Any props you have a home or things to use as props! A Bolster and blocks Hot water bottle ready to add warmth!

Chair Yoga: Play, Release and Invert
Chair yoga can be fun and strong. This chair yoga class uses a chair to release tension in the upper back and shoulders to prepare us for deeper stretches. Have fun with your chair next to a wall and build up to pincha mayurasana forearm inversion. You will need a stable chair to be against the wall.

Jivamukti Yoga: Keep Moving
This short Jivamukti yoga class has a focus on rocking within poses. Rather than finding stillness within the. jivamukti yoga poses, we will keep moving to release muscular tension and restrictions in joints. A perfect class if you're feeling a little stiffer than usual and you could do with moving and rocking to release tension in your vinyasa yoga class. You may need a block and a blanket.

Settle and Centre with Yin Yoga
Our minds often want to run away from things that are uncomfortable, or run towards pleasant sensation. This yin yoga class cultivates our ability to simply stay present and mindful to whatever is happening. Without judgement, we develop the ability to simply stay and widen the inner landscape through the yin yoga poses of squat, butterfly, sphinx, seal and dragonfly. You will need a brick.

Awaken Energy 2: Balls, Blocks and Massage
A second class to move chi (or energy) in the body using tennis ball massage. This class is perfect in the morning to gently stimulate energy or as a prelude to yin class; ideal if you’re feeling tired and want to gently lift your energy with minimal movement. You will need 2 tennis balls or spiky massage balls and a block.

Awaken Energy 1: Blocks, Rollers and Massage
Learn techniques to move energy in the body. You will need 1-2 tennis balls or spiky massage ball, a block and a foam roller. You'll learn how to move energy (or chi, in Chinese medicine) along meridian lines. This class is entirely floor based so is ideal for when you have limited space, and the class is great for those who are feeling fatigued or low in energy. You could even practice this prior to a yin yoga class.

50:50 Jivamukti and Yin Yoga
A quick moving Jivamukti yoga flow followed by some yin yoga. Class starts with swift sun salutations and moves to a handstand practice. You may need to be near a wall for handstands. Then expect a settled yin yoga practice. This class develops the the 50/50 concept by Stephen Batchelor: to be engaged outward for 50% of our time we need to have the same amount of time focusing inward.

Get Moving: Jivamukti Yoga
This short but challenging Jivamukti yoga class gets moving immediately and includes sun salutations, balances, lunges and twists. The poses in this class awaken the energy in the navel centre, we practice yoga with a strong, empowered core so that we can move fearlessly through life, with strength and courage. Not suitable for pregnant students or those with high blood pressure. You will need a block.
